Katharina Sailer brings over eight years of experience in hydrogen certification and alternative fuels. At the German Energy Agency (dena) she worked in register management and contributed to further development of the dena biogas register; she also developed certification systems for e-fuels and studies on hydrogen certification and business models. Later, as senior consultant at GP Joule, she developed hydrogen, heat and power supply concepts for industrial companies. Her focus is certification, proof management and practical implementation of regulatory requirements.
Dipl.-Ing. Johan Grope has more than 15 years of experience advising political and business decision-makers in renewable energy – with comprehensive knowledge of German and European regulation for renewables and CO₂ markets. He spent many years in biogas and biomethane; most recently as managing director of eQuota GmbH, a software provider for the digital processing of reporting processes and trading under the GHG quota. His strength is turning opportunities and challenges at the interface of legislation and business into practical solutions for certification, proof management and quota trading.
